BLS for Healthcare Providers
This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. It is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings.
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card is valid for two years. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.

Law Enforcement First Response Tactical Casualty Care (LEFR)
The Law Enforcement First Response Tactical Casualty Care (LEFR and sometimes pronounced “Leefer”) is a State of Georgia Approved Tactical Emergency First Aid/Trauma Care course and exceeds all requirements for the State of Georgia Commission on Peace Officer Standardization and Training (POST) for patrol officers.
This course teaches first responders and allied professionals the basic medical care interventions, which can save an injured person’s life until they can be assisted by conventional EMS. It uses the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), and meets the recommendations of the Hartford Consensus documents and the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC) guidelines.
Tactical Casualty Care model courses presented by STOPS are supervised by National TCCC/TECC Affiliate Faculty and LEFR-TCC (Tactical Emergency First Aid/Trauma Care).

CPR AED: Includes Adult/Child/Infant CPR
Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult.
Training includes Adult, Child and Infant CPR, the use of an AED, and how to relieve choking in a conscious or unconscious victim. Infant and child modules can be optional based on the group’s training needs but we recommend it to all of our students. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.
